Leann Beatty, LMT, has an Associates Degree in Therapeutic Massage from Laurel Business Institute Over the past 11 years, Leann owned and operated her first successful massage business, and worked in Chiropractic setting, at a four star resort spa, as well as a wellness and fitness center.
Her passion for massage and learning new techniques lead her to become trained in level 1 & 2 Thai Yoga Massage and Table Thai Massage. Leann also loves yoga and is trained in Restorative yoga, a wonderful compliment to Thai Massage.
When Leann isn't creating seasonal scrubs for her personalized body treatment or zhooshing up the studio for arriving clients, she's spending time with her daughters. She enjoys hiking and being in nature, traveling, and experiencing art, an interest that has helped contribute to OmBody's growing art gallery.
Before Leann was a massage therapist she was a bartender, waitress, floral designer, house painter, retail sale assistant and landscaper. Once she trained in Massage therapy, she knew that she had found the perfect career to help others and maintain her independent, jack of all trades, lifestyle.
Leann's hours are 10:00am-5:00pm throughout the week. One of the many ways you can connect with Leann is through her schedulicity account. Schedule an appointment today by clinking on the link below.
Leah is a long time yogi and skilled massage therapist. Her fiery and spirited passion for all things adventurous fuses with her career in holistic healing to create a unique outlook on performance enhancement and wellness for all athletes. The appreciation she feels for her work, combined with the environment in which she lives and plays, forges a lifestyle worth loving.
Leah began practicing yoga regularly at the young age of 8yo. Since then, her love for both travel and yoga has taken her to studios from coast to coast, as well as other countries. Along with co-owning OmBody, Leah also started Yoga in the Yurt, a donation based community class at the White Grass ski touring center in Canaan Valley, WV. To read more about where she teaches and how yoga has touched her life, click the link below.
Almost immediately after graduating high school, Leah attended the Morgantown Beauty College for Massage therapy. With classes five days a week and clinical evenings and weekends, her schooling was fast tracked. Shortly after graduating Leah became a year round employee at a local ski resort. After five years of working on thousands of different clients, she decided to move to a resort on the west coast, in one of the hardest states to obtain a massage license, Oregon. She worked tirelessly for months, taking enough classes to receive the continuing education credits needed to up her credentials from Nationally to Board certified, the highest cert. a massage therapist can hold. Through this work Leah became specialized in modalities such as resistance release, myofascial release, reflexology, craniosacral, aromatherapy, sports massage and many others. Towards the end of her training, Leah realized that what she craved most from her work was seeing, feeling and experiencing the progression in muscle strength and flexibility from return clientele (something she would never get working at a resort, who’s main clients were one time visitors). In this realization, she accepted a position as a massage therapist and yoga instructor at a wellness studio in Uniontown, PA and worked there until it’s closure in the summer of 2018. While owning her own studio was never something Leah dreamed of as an 18yo taking her first steps into massage school, it has become a useful tool in continuing the work that she loves, being able to assist athletes in performance, training and recovery by resetting the muscle memory.
